Parini Secondo chooses rope skipping as an athletic practice and rhythmic element to create his new production – HIT. The show is the theatre version of the project do-around-the-world (2023).

In a composition developed together with the musician and researcher Alberto Ricca/Bienoise, the illusory repetitiveness of the rotating flow of
the rope around the two dancer-jumpers becomes an inexorable spiral that parabolas time from the real to the ritual. Like drums, one can break out of the impasse creating a physical vacuum that makes the skin resonate with every stroke, becoming an echo of the words heard, becoming singing stones (M. Schneider, 1972).
